Comment: I had the pleasure of listening to your Choir at Swansea University on Monday of this week when you entertained the U3A. Are there any CDs available? I have searched the website and have not found anything. Please reply and let me know. Many thanks to all the Choir - it was an outstanding performance. You all have a wonderful gift.

Comment: An absolutely fantastic and moving recital, which you performed at Jan and Derek’s recent Ruby Wedding Anniversary. I particularly liked the 60’s medley with its opening version of ‘the house of the rising sun’. It was a unique opportunity to listen to such fabulous music.

Comment: Thank you all for making a special day that extra bit special on Sunday. It's not every ruby wedding party that have a choir performing, let alone one of such quality. It was great to hear you at last and I am looking forward to hearing more... Thanks again - I know it made the day for Mum and Dad (and others too!) Simon

Comment: Last Saturday, Bob & I spent a wonderful evening at your Founders' Concert. The choir excelled and the choice of items showcased their talents and added to the quality of the evening. The choice of guest artists was inspired and added to the whole. It was a most professional concert which Bob & I thoroughly enjoyed. The evening went too quickly and left us wanting more. Please pass our congratulations to the MD, accompanists and choir members for giving us such a memorable evening. Out thanks also to those from the Supporters’ Association who made us so welcome, especially Glen and Gaynor.

Comment: I have had the privilege to be associated with many choirs during my life. These have all given me pleasure in various ways and the Morriston Phoenix choir is keeping up that good feeling. The concert on Saturday at Swansea Grand Theatre was a credit to Sian and to them. and all achieved in just a year. The love of singing was clear to see and sian was inspirational Compliments to Richard and Rob also who have supported so ably and so loyally. Compere Philip Madoc was his usual ultimate perfectionist and Mike Doyle the ideal family entertainer. It was also pleasing to see the young dancers from Counterpoint taking part. All in all a fabulous night

Comment: Happy 1st Birthday Morriston Phoenix & may you have lots more. You gave a wonderful performance at The Grand last night, the show was amazing & the standing ovation was truly justified & deserved! It was a shame though that the bar staff shut the bar so early after the show & stopped the party just as it was getting started! They missed what would have been a great time if our night in Bournemouth is anything to go by! Keep it up Phoenix there's a world out there for you to conquer. Sue & Paul

You have come so far in such a short time and should be rightly proud of your achievements - an example to all of a modern, enterprising MVC. Good Luck and thinking of you with much Hireaith on Saturday. Knock em' dead!

Comment: What a thrill we had on Saturday at the magnificent St Stephen's Church in Bournemouth, when the Morriston Phoenix joined the Bournemouth Male voice Choir at its Annual Concert. Two excellent choirs gave us an outstanding treat of choral music at its very best. Particularly thrilling was the first performance by the Phoenix outside Wales and according to the standing ovation they received it will certainly not be their last. The outpouring of applause at the end of the first item by them was repeated throughout the concert. tone ,diction and colour was expertly and enthusiastically led by MD Sian Pearce, who has shown yet again what an asset she is to Choral music in Wales and the world. Well done all Also well done to Mark Burstow and the BMC. Your welcome and support are very much appreciated. Llinos and Clive.

Comment: The Morriston Phoenix gave a concert last night (March 15th) for Leukaemia Research, in Bethany Baptist Church, Cardiff. To say it was a wonderful evening is putting it mildly. The whole atmosphere was good, and their music was varied and excellent, there mix of old favourites and new 'soon-to-be favourites' was great. Congratulations to Siân congratulations to Richard, (Accompanist), and well done, all. Many thanks from the Cardiff Branch of Leukaemia for helping us to raise funds in such an enjoyable way.
